the one with songs

Back again… been busy eating… and trying to remember i still need the Lord…

anyway, as many of you go to worship at your various churches today, i am still recalling how many songs played an encouraging role as i fasted. And i love singing. It’s not the heart of worship, but what a beautiful expression of worship and prayer!
i actually find as i sing many of these songs, it is prayer to the Lord, to make it true, or an affirmation of truth that i admit i don’t always believe.

All in all
You are my strength when i am weak
You are the treasure that i seek
You are my all in all
Seeking You as a precious jewel
Lord, to give up, i’d be a fool
You are my all in all

Taking my sin, my cross, my shame
rising again i bless Your name
You are my all in all
When i fall down You pick me up
when i run dry You fill my cup
You are my all in all

Jesus, lamb of God
worthy is Your name
Jesus, lamb of God
worthy is Your name

Be Thou my vision

Be Thou my vision, O Lord of my heart
not be all else to me save that Thou art
Thou my best thought by day or by night
waking or sleeping Thy presence my light

Riches i heed not nor man’s empty praise
Thou my inheritance now and always
Thou and Thou only first in my heart
High King of Heaven my treasure Thou art

Inside-out
A thousand times i  failed, still your mercy remains…
Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending Your glory glows beyond all faith
my heart and my soul
i give You control
consume me from the inside out
let justice & praise become my embrace
to love You from the inside-out
Everlasting…
and the cry of my heart is to bring you praise
from the inside out my soul cries out…

Everlasting God
strength will rise when we wait up the Lord
we will wait upon the Lord
we will wait upon the Lord

Our God You reign forever
Our hope, our strong deliverer
You are the everlasting God, the everlasting God
You do not faint, You won’t grow weary
You are the defender of the weak
You comfort those in need
You lift us up on wings like eagles…
